Gasoline Rainbows brings together works by six Canadian artists – Eli Bornowsky, Eli Langer, Kika Thorne, Holly Ward, Geoffrey Farmer and Derek Sullivan.

Many of the works directly reference Modernist abstraction, using vivid colors, bold forms and elaborate compositions.
It’s surprising that Vancouver artist Evan Lee hasn’t been included in the exhibition – since he made some photographs of actual gasoline rainbows several years ago. See more of Evan’s work at the Monte Clark Gallery.
