Julie Beugin, Jessica Eaton, Jillian Pritchard and Dan Starling are four recent Emily Carr Institute grads, each of
whom have been influenced by philosophical ideas. The exhibition features work in video, painting and photography.

This show of First Nations art examines the relationship between Janet Kigusiuq’s collages, her drawings
and the compositions of her contemporaries. Over fifty original, never-before-seen works on paper
from Baker Lake are featured alongside works by artists such as Myra Kukiiyaut, Simon Tookoome, Irene Avaalaaqiaq, Marjorie Esa, Victoria Mamnguqsualuk, William Noah and others.

A curator’s talk will be held on May 3, 7 pm.

Curator James D. Campbell will discuss Klunder’s work with a slide presentation. The artist will be present and the
audience will have an opportunity to ask questions of both Mr. Campbell and Mr. Klunder.
