Andrew Wright’s photographs of night waves were shot precipitously close to the rapids of the Niagara gorge. The contradiction of purity and artifice in his work echoes a similar touch in Spring Hurlbut’s touching images.

Hurlbut’s documentation of cremated remains “reveal the fragile materiality of what remains of existence…connecting us to an experience both individual and universal.”
