Hung jury? More like Hang the Jury! How can the lamest, minimal piece in this shortlist be the winner? Consider this: The most frenetic and anti-minimalist piece was a runner-up. Is someone covering their bases?
What a slap to artists everywhere when trite rehash gets the kudos. At least the shortlist had more talent than not, which has been the case in previous years.

Who do you think should have won?

No kidding a bunch of has been’s and wanna-be’s on the jury trying to suck ass with Catriona by picking a weak artist from her stable. Oh I should mention there is even a strong contingent of wanna-be has been’s. I thought this was meant to be a contest to ferret out the best painters in Canada? For the record I am not a painter.

I’m with strict, I could die from yawning right now.
