Canadian artists abroad: Derek Sullivan

Having just closed his solo exhibition We May Be Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants But Some Of Us Are Looking At The Stars at the Southern Alberta Art Gallery, Lethbridge, Toronto artist Derek Sullivan is busy with a number of exhibitions in Europe and the US.

He will show his multiples, books and poster projects from 2002 to the present from 15 March to 20 April at Galerie Florence Loewy in Paris.

A solo show of Sullivan’s new book projects runs at the White Columns Bulletin Board in New York from April 3 – 3 May.

His work will feature in P2P at Casino Luxembourg Forum d’art contemporain, Luxembourg - along with illustrious names (and VoCA favorites) Jonathan Monk, Rodney Graham and Gilberto Zorio, among others - from January 26 to April 6, 2008.

And his exhibition Citizen, Denizen, Resident with other Canadian artists Allison Hrabluik, Luanne Martineau and Kevin Rodgers will run at Tatjana Pieters/OneTwenty Gallery, Gent from March 16 to April 27, 2008.
