Really happy to see my friend Drew Simpson on the list — I love his work. And nice that the exhibition will tour the whole country, all the way to Newfoundland, which usually gets left out.
Collin Johanson for the win!
Last year Paul Butler hijacked the judging so he might have a shot with both Arabella Campbell and Catriona Jeffries Gallery. Hopefully this years judges will actually have morals.
That’s the kind of gossip I love. But juries are always filled with a hundred different agendas and, as well, quite a number of (almost) inperceptible conflicts of interest.
I wouldn’t hold my breath expecting morals. Juries stumble through their peculiar negotiations with each other and some artist gets lucky.
Jordan Hill,
Why don’t you tell us a little more about yourself? Please give us the inside scoop…enlighten us.
Justin Stephens for the win!!
