None of the fifteen excited me very much, but of this group I would choose Rick Leong. He shows a lot of potential. Of course they are all young artists and you never know how each will develop with time.

I have enjoyed Martin Golland’s work for a number of years now and seeing his progression and growth over that time is amazing. My vote goes to Mr. Golland

I had the chance to see Martin Golland’s work when he came to ECIAD as visiting artist and my vote is for him because the man not only knows his painting, but he has great vision to adapt and produce stunning critical work that screams with the intensity painting needs today.

NOne of it is exciting—-what is it -the ony one with anything interesting in it & makes sense- is Sudden Space by Jane. At least it’s one that one could hang on the wall & look at for awhile. Seems 2 me art should be- subjects that one would like 2 hang on the wall & look at 4 many years 2 come!!!!

I think art is the way a painter expresses himself and it is also his/her perseption of things that surround him/her. Art is also something that has been evoluating and changing through out the time.
Non if this is exiting- I strongly discgree with this saying, assuming that our taste just like art changes with time. something that does not exite us today, might exite us in the future (the work of many artists, was not considered to be exiting until after their death)
Art is something to hang on the wall- hm.. each art has its own personality just like each house has its own personality.

However, I do vote for the following artists: Leong, Howlett and Golland.
