“In 2006, when we started our auctions here, we covered regional art from 18 countries and our buyers were also from the region. Since then, in subsequent auctions we have noticed a steady rise in the percentage of international buyers who are travelling to Dubai for the auctions. I believe Dubai will soon be the next big auction destination after New York, London and Hong Kong.”
